MYOFASCIAL RELEASE WEEK-END

A 3-day workshop with Anne and Maria, taking you on a journey through the deeper layer of your body, learning self myofascial release techniques that you can safely reproduce at home or in the office.

“Fascia” has been a popular word around lately but what exactly is fascia? Why is it important? What does myofascial release (MFR) mean & what are the different techniques & tools available for it? We are very excited to invite you to this week-end course that aims at answering all these questions & giving you a better understanding of your own body! Mostly we want to offer time to experience first hand how myofascial release can impact your yoga practice & your overall well-being.

Using simple tools such as rubber balls of different size and density, learn to unravel tension from your feet to the top of your head along myofascial lines and meridians. Unwind and release muscle trigger points and fascial adhesions to experience more freedom in your body as well as increased ease in your asana practice. Experience the physical & emotional relaxation that emanates from this deep personal self-care practice.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT?

  • 2x 3h Workshops to learn numerous MFR techniques, cover the main body lines & have a space for communal learning
  • 2x 2h Masterclasses to integrate the learnings, bringing MFR into creative flows that will leave you both energised & deeply relaxed
  • Two passionate teachers & a limited group of students for a qualitative training environment
  • A complete set of RAD balls for each participant of the full weekend

  • Friday 04th May // 18:30-20:30 // MASTERCLASS ‘Flow & Let Go’ with Anne
  • Saturday 05th May // 10:00-13:00 // WORKSHOP I ‘Introduction to Fascia & Back body release’
  • Saturday 05th May // 15:00-17:00 // MASTERCLASS ‘Flow & Expand’ with Maria
  • Sunday 06th May // 10:00-13:00 // WORKSHOP II ‘Front & Lateral body release + Take-home sequencing’

This workshop is open to all levels - NO previous yoga experience or MFR experience necessary!
Myofascial Release can be a particularly great adjunct to the yoga practice for those with injuries or restrictions – simply inform us of your medical condition when registering.

 

ABOUT YOUR TEACHERS:

Coming from different backgrounds and blending their experience & knowledge, Anne & Maria promote a playful approach of yoga and enjoy encouraging people to explore and experiment.
