Ingredients:
- 1 cup of almond milk
- 1 cup of pumpkin purée*
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 2 pinches of cloves
- 2 tbsp of ghee (or coconut oil as a vegan substitute)
- 1/4 tsp of ginger (dried)
- 2 pinches of nutmeg
- 2 tbsp of raw sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
*Note: you can buy pumpkin purée in a can or prepare it yourself (bake a small pumpkin at 180 degrees for 45 mins. approx. - it will be then easy to peel the pumpkin and remove the seeds to prepare the homemade purée)
Directions:
Mix the pumpkin purée, almond milk, ghee and the spices in a blender. Add more or less almond milk depending on the desired texture.
Bring the mixture to a pot, bring it to boil and then keep it at a lower temperature for a few minutes.
Serve warm & enjoy!
